Upper Hutt Rams

We've spent most of our time the past week lifting and working laboring jobs around Wellington.

Saturday we played the Upper Hutt Rams, a team that just got demoted from the league above us last week. They were by far the biggest, strongest team we've played and both Thomas and I started at props.

It was about 45 degrees, raining, and very windy so I thought I was going to die. We were up by two tries when I was subbed off in the fiftieth minute. Thomas hurt his shoulder and went out at half. Upper Hutt nearly came back but we hung on to a gutty win of 27-21 in some of the worst weather any of us had played in, starting the second round off with a strong win.

Next weekend, June 8th, we have a bye so we'll be exploring Queenstown on the South Island getting in bungy, skydiving, nature tours, and other fun stuff.
